WWII German M1911 K98 Rifle Ammunition Pouch - Transitional Pattern Gallery
These are 1941 transitional pattern pouches in my personal collection. This type of pattern has two belt straps that wrap under each pocket and slips over a post. Hardware is steel although some aluminum fittings mixed with steel is possible.

Kriegsmarine marked, black pebbled leather. Clip dividers are missing and all but one steel rivet for same. Peddled leather pocket bottom liners. Aluminum pocket posts. Rivets and reenforcement for top belt strap is aluminum with steel used for bottom strap loops. Equipment ring is steel painted gray. Eagle wing is 10 mm wide and 8.5 mm from the top to the bottom of swastika. The "M" under is 3 mm square. (20070130)

The letter "G." in maker mark is Gustav, maker in Berlin. Outside of each of the three lid straps have the initials "DW?" cut into leather. Eagle wing is 11 mm wide and 8.5 mm from the top to the bottom of swastika. The "M" under is 3 mm square. (20061217)
Black pebbled leather and steel hardware painted feldgray (50% remaining). Clip dividers are intact. Peddled leather pocket bottom liners. A number "13" is stamped inside the middle pocket. (20070310-01)
Black pebbled leather and steel hardware painted feldgray (30% remaining). All steel fittings, no aluminum. All three clip dividers are intact. Black peddled leather pocket bottom liners. An illegible number, possibly "62" is handwritten inside the end pocket. (20081125)
Black pebbled leather and steel hardware painted feldgray (10% remaining). No aluminum hardware. All ammunition clip dividers are present. Natural peddled leather pocket bottom liners. This pouch is nice with well defined pockets and clean leather inside and out. The letters "JP" age hand written inside the right side pocket. (20070531)
